Reuseabox

We help companies reduce their impact on the environment by making it easy for them to reuse cardboard boxes with our Reuse Model.

Reuseabox exists to create a better world with less waste.

A few years ago we had an idea. What if businesses could reduce their environmental impact by simply reusing cardboard boxes?

We put this concept to the test. Partnering with Lincoln University and environmental consultants, we led an academic study to prove the environmental benefits of reusing cardboard boxes over recycling them. This resulted in the creation of the first of its kind carbon footprint tool that measures the environmental savings of cardboard reuse.

Businesses can find out exactly how much carbon, energy and water they’ve saved, and how many trees they’ve kept in the ground, by choosing to reuse cardboard boxes.
Producers can sign up to get their boxes collected for reuse, while companies looking to pack their products can buy quality used boxes from our website.

In 2020 we decided to take things one step further. We know reusing cardboard boxes isn’t enough to solve climate change. We also feel a responsibility to give back to the planet for the resources we consume. For this reason we decided to start planting trees. To start with we committed to planting 1 tree for every order placed for our used cardboard boxes. But we’ve got much bigger plans. We believe that collaboration is key if we are to tackle the worst effects of climate change. So we’ve signed up to the Million Tree Pledge and made a commitment to plant 1 million trees. We know this won’t be an easy task, but with the support of some incredible businesses and our inspirational team, we know we can make it happen.

"We believe it’s up to businesses to take the lead in tackling the climate emergency. We’re proud to support the Million Tree Pledge and commit to planting 1 million trees. It’s our way of giving back for the resources we use and helping to make the world a better place."

Seriously considering it?

Imagine how it would feel to have planted 1 million trees, being part of this number, knowing you’re going way beyond your carbon footprint to help reverse climate change.
